TWT Accounting Pro

Every client.One login.

The practice side of TWT One: a tax firm keeps many clients' books from one place.

The client list with its numbers and packages, an overview across every client with a traffic light on each, and one click into any client's books without signing out. You decide which of your people may enter which client, and your staff never use up a client's own users.

  • Up to 500 clients
  • One login for all of them
  • DATEV export with your advisor number
  • Hosted in Germany

A practice is set up together with us, like a cash register: tell us your size and we take it from there.

Why a practice

What changes when every client is in one place

Every client in one list

Client number, name, city, the package each one holds and how many of your people may enter it. Search it, open any of them, and come back.

One login, no switching accounts

You sign in once. Opening a client switches into its books and nothing else changes: the same screens, the same shortcuts, the same you.

One set of books per client

There is no second ledger and no copy of a client. A client that changes advisor keeps everything it has; only the link changes.

Functions

What the practice level adds

Above the company workspaces that already exist. Nothing was taken out of them.

The client list

  • Client number, name, city, phone and the package each client holds
  • Set a client up yourself, or invite a company that already works here
  • Search, sort and page through hundreds of them
  • End an engagement and keep it on file, with the client's data untouched

The overview across every client

  • One row per client with a traffic light: red, amber or green
  • Documents to approve, bank lines to match, entries still in draft
  • Where the VAT return and the month-end stand, per client
  • Every figure is one click into the page it came from

Your people, your grants

  • Decide which employee may open which client
  • Set the access level they work at inside the client
  • Withdraw it and the door shuts at once
  • Your staff never count against a client's own included users

Talking to a client

  • One conversation per client, not a ticket queue
  • Internal notes that stay inside the practice, enforced by the server
  • Unread counts on both sides, so nothing is answered twice
  • The client answers from its own workspace, with no account to create

The books themselves

  • Journal, VAT return, open items and the account sheet, per client
  • Incoming invoices with approval, and bank statements matched
  • Reports: BWA, P&L, trial balance and the rest
  • E-invoices received and read, as the law has required since 2025

The DATEV path

  • Buchungsstapel export in the EXTF format DATEV reads
  • Your advisor number and the client's own number in the header
  • The GoBD package for a Betriebsprüfung, per client
  • Import of bookings, accounts and opening balances is next
All 32 features in detail
  • DashboardDashboard

What needs doing today and the figures behind it, cut to your package: invoices, supplier invoices awaiting approval, hours and projects, or the books. Plus a guided first-run checklist.

  • PracticePractice overview

One row per client with a traffic light: documents to approve, bank lines to match, unposted entries, and where the VAT return and the month-end stand. Every figure is one click into the page it came from.

  • PracticeClients

Every company whose books the practice keeps: client number, package and access at a glance, and one click into any client’s books without signing out.

  • PracticeMessages

One conversation per client rather than a ticket queue — everything about those books in one place. Internal notes stay inside the practice, enforced by the server: the client never sees them.

  • PracticeStaff

Who in the practice may open which client. A tick grants the access, removing it withdraws it at once — and none of your people counts as a user at the client.

  • SalesE-Invoice

E-invoices to the German standard: generate, convert, read and validate ZUGFeRD and XRechnung against EN 16931.

  • SalesCustomers

Buyer master data including VAT ID, flowing straight into the e-invoice as BT-48.

  • PurchasingIncoming invoices

Receive, check and approve your suppliers’ invoices — a photograph, a PDF or an XRechnung, all in the same inbox. Being able to receive them has been obligatory since 2025; issuing them only from 2027.

  • PurchasingSuppliers

Your creditors with their account mapping and every bank account they have ever invoiced from — what makes the changed-IBAN warning possible.

  • AccountingAccounting settings

Profit determination (balance sheet or EÜR), the VAT scheme (Soll- or Istversteuerung under § 20 UStG), the fiscal year and the chart of accounts. Set once, and every posting and report follows them.

  • AccountingChart of accounts

The complete DATEV SKR03 and SKR04 chart of accounts. The revenue account you pick decides both the VAT rate and the EN 16931 category.

  • AccountingBookkeeping

Every document becomes a double-entry booking. The VAT return, the open items list and a DATEV posting batch all fall out of the journal.

  • AccountingELSTER

The advance VAT return and the income surplus calculation (Anlage EÜR with its asset register AVEÜR) from your bookings: calculated, checked twice and validated with ELSTER's own library, with the protocol and a complete history.

  • AccountingOpen Items

Receivables and payables in one working list: filter the way accountants expect, spread one bank transfer across several invoices, offset credits, write off cent differences with the correct VAT adjustment.

  • AccountingPayments

The payment proposal knows the last day a cash discount can still be taken; a selection becomes a payment run with separate approval and a SEPA file (pain.001) for your bank.

  • AccountingBanking

Import CAMT.053, MT940 or CSV from your bank; a matching transaction marks the invoice paid and settles the booking behind it.

  • AccountingAssets

Capitalise what you buy and let it depreciate itself. Straight line or declining, GWG and Sammelposten included, with the asset movement schedule your adviser asks for at year end.

  • AccountingCash book

Cash recorded the way cash behaves: written forward, never edited, and never below zero. With cash counts and the cash report, and with bookkeeping one-click posting into the journal.

  • DocumentsDocuments by email

Your own address for supplier invoices. Hand it out, or forward your existing mailbox to it — what arrives is read, checked and approved like a document you uploaded. With a sender list, format and size limits, and a log that names the refused messages too, so no supplier is left sending into nothing.

  • ReportsReports

Business analysis (DATEV form 01), P&L/cash-basis, trial balance with account ledger, VAT return with box numbers, revenue, payment behaviour, order backlog, cash flow, cash discount and per-partner account statements — as CSV, PDF or print view.

  • AdministrationCompanies

Full legal profile: register data, tax numbers, banking, branding and § 19 UStG small-business mode.

  • AdministrationUser Management

Invitations, access levels, per-user permission overrides and ownership transfer.

  • AdministrationTax advisor

Who, besides your own people, may reach your data. A practice asks, you decide, and you can withdraw the access at any time — your own users are untouched.

  • AdministrationImport data

Switch without retyping: customers, suppliers, the catalogue and your open items from a CSV file, as sevdesk, Lexware Office, Papierkram and Excel export them. Semicolons, umlauts and German numbers are recognised and the columns map themselves — with a dry run first and all-or-nothing on the way in.

  • AdministrationTwo-factor requirement

Whether a second factor stays voluntary, is required of everyone, or only of the access levels that can move money. Setting one up stays on each person’s own profile, and that page stays reachable so nobody is locked away from the requirement they have to meet.

  • AdministrationBilling

Plan and single-module subscriptions paid by card — the payment itself switches the module on.

  • AdministrationTWT invoices

Every invoice from TWT in one place, across all modules, with the payment status per module and each invoice as a PDF.

  • AdministrationCancellation

Contract, end of term and cancellation in one place. Paid time stays usable to the end of the period, and the cancellation can be withdrawn until then.

  • AdministrationAudit Logs

21 action types across 21 entity types, filterable and CSV-exportable, surviving deletion.

  • AdministrationGoBD export

The tax-audit data handover: journal, booking lines, master data, documents, payments, assets and the hash-chained audit log in one ZIP with an index.xml that IDEA-style audit software imports directly.

  • AdministrationSupport

Help from inside the product: ask a question, attach a screenshot, read the answer in the same thread. Each person sees only their own requests.

  • AdministrationNotifications

Where the product writes to: e-mail, Telegram or WhatsApp — one set for the company, and one of their own for each person. With a test message, so a wrong number is caught at once instead of staying silent.

Who it is for

Practices that keep other people's books

  • Tax practices

A Steuerkanzlei with a handful of staff and a book of clients that keeps growing.

  • Bookkeeping offices

Keeping the books and preparing the returns, without the practice's other work.

  • Advisers on their own

One person, twenty clients, and no time for twenty logins.

  • Offices that also run payroll

The books here, payroll where you run it today. The DATEV export carries both numbers.

  • Auditors and reviewers

Read-only access per client, with the complete audit trail the law expects.

What the law wants

Keeping somebody else's books is a regulated job

The practice level does not loosen any of it. It is the same platform, with one more level above it.

One auditable system

§ 146 AO wants the books kept in one traceable system. There is one ledger here, one audit trail and one history, whoever made the entry.

Access that can be proved

A grant writes an ordinary membership on the client, so every list, every check and every audit row behaves exactly as for the client's own people.

The VAT return, filed

The UStVA goes to ELSTER from the client's own books, and the overview shows at a glance which client has not filed yet.

Eight years, and the handover

§ 147 AO and § 14b UStG: records are kept for eight years, and the GoBD package hands them to an auditor's tooling in the format it reads.

A client that ends the engagement keeps every row it owns. Your access goes; its books stay with it.

Getting started

How a practice comes across

We set the practice up with you rather than leaving you to a checkout: the size of your book decides the tier, and the way you work today decides the order.

Your clients come across one at a time, each with its own package, so nothing moves before you are ready for it.

You keep your DATEV path throughout: the export carries your advisor number and each client's own number from the first day.

Talk to us
  1. Tell us your sizeHow many clients you keep books for, and how many people work on them. That decides the tier and nothing else.
  2. We open the practiceYour practice workspace and your staff, with the client list empty and waiting.
  3. Your clients come acrossSet each one up, or invite a company that already works here and let it say yes. You decide the order.

For your own business

A practice has its own invoices to write

TWT One adds everything you need for the practice's own side: your fee notes to your clients, your quotes, your hours and the documents that go with them. The same login, the same place.

Your clients' books are unaffected. This is for your own company.

Where the difference shows

Four things a practice does every day, and how they work here.

Learn more

Payment and books The bank statement closes the invoice

Import what your online banking exports — CAMT.053, MT940 or a German CSV. A transaction whose amount and invoice number agree is matched automatically; confirming it marks the invoice paid and settles the booking behind it, which clears it from the open items.

  • No bank connection and no aggregator — you upload the file
  • Reference matching ignores separators: RE 2026-0006 and 20260006 both hit
  • Debits reconcile supplier payments the same way

Reports Figures your tax adviser recognises at first glance

Ten reports on two bases — booked entries and issued invoices. Every header states what the numbers rest on, and every export carries it along.

  • Business analysis following DATEV form 01, with % column and previous-year comparison
  • From the trial balance straight into the account ledger of every posting
  • VAT return with the official form's box numbers — monthly or quarterly

Incoming invoices The obligation that already applies

Being able to receive e-invoices has been obligatory for every German business since January 2025 — issuing them only from 2027. It is also the side the market handles worst. Here every arriving invoice is read, checked and approved before anybody pays it.

  • A photograph, a PDF and an XRechnung all reach the same inbox
  • Checked against the official rule set, with a readable result
  • A warning when a supplier suddenly names a different IBAN

Access Control A real ACL, not role labels

More than 130 permission keys, organised as a module → component → action tree. Every member starts with the rights of their role; on top of it you grant or withhold single rights for exactly that person, and a withheld right always wins.

  • One key gates the API, the menu and the route
  • Modules you cannot reach never ship their JavaScript
  • Changes apply on the user's very next navigation

Questions

What practices ask first

What does it cost?

By the number of clients you actively keep books for: up to 20, up to 100 or up to 500. The figures are announced with the release, and we would rather tell you a price we can honour than print one here first.

Do my clients need their own package?

A client that only has its books kept needs nothing of its own. A client that writes its own invoices, runs a till or tracks projects books that package itself, exactly as any company does.

Do my staff use up my clients' users?

No. A grant you give an employee is flagged as the practice's, and a client's billable users never move because of it. You pay for your own tier; your client pays for its own package.

Can a client see what we write about it?

Only what you address to it. An internal note is filtered out by the server, not merely hidden by a screen: it does not appear in the client's thread, its unread count or anything else it can ask for.

What happens when a client leaves us?

Your access is withdrawn and the engagement is kept on file. The client keeps every row it owns: its books, its documents, its own users. Only the link changes.

Does the DATEV export carry our numbers?

Yes. Your advisor number and each client's own number go into the EXTF header, so an import does not have to be corrected by hand. You can still type a different pair for a one-off export.

Can we bring a running client across?

Partly, today: master data, suppliers, customers and documents come across now. Opening balances, the fiscal year change and the import of DATEV bookings are the next piece of work, and we will say when they are ready rather than before.

Where is the data?

On our own servers in Germany. No cloud storage and no third-party notification service, for your books or for your clients'.

Ready to bring your clients across?

Tell us how many clients you keep books for and how you work today. We set the practice up with you, and your data stays on our own servers in Germany.
